Save Our Children From AIDS

AIDS was firstly discovered in 1982 under the name Gay Related Immune Disease (GRID). When it first appeared, the disease directly into something that is very scary because no one knows where they come from this disease! But now condition have changed and the  AIDS is not frightened anymore. Society do not care  about AIDS disease anymore. The most terrible of the AIDS disease is until now medical expert have not been able to find a cure.

A Brief Description about AIDS
AIDS is an infection caused by HIV (Human Immunodeficiency Virus) and this virus causes damage to the immune system progressively. Common symptoms are visible in this illness is like a long diarrhea,  long fever , growing mushrooms in the area of the mouth, body weight tended to decrease and organ dysfunction that lasted long.

Transmission of AIDS
HIV-AIDS transmission is through a variety of ways, namely by having sex with an infected partner with HIV virus, the use of unsterilized needles and transmission through blood transfusion.
At the beginning, AIDS patients are mostly adults. But in its development, some children in some countries also had been infected with HIV-AIDS virus. This condition must be very scary at all. Children who are infected with the HIV virus is mostly transmitted by their own biological mother living with HIV AIDS virus. Transmission of virus could be through pregnancy, childbirth and lactation. This poor conditions forced the world community to action campaigns to prevent AIDS transmission from mother to child. And the right program to tackle this problem is with the formation of Prevention of Mother to Child Infection by WHO. In this program the WHO campaign on four important points in his efforts to prevent transmission of HIV virus from mother to child is:
(1) Preventing HIV transmission in women of childbearing age
(2) Preventing unplanned pregnancies in women with HIV virus
(3) Preventing the spread of HIV AIDS virus from pregnant women with HIV to children born
(4) Providing support, services and continuous treatment in patient with HIV virus.
Four actions aimed to suppress even reducing morbidity and mortality of mothers and babies because HIV AIDS virus. The most important of all is the public awareness to prevent HIV-AIDS by abstaining from casual sex, drug use and avoid other negative behaviors.
